About Me

I am a highly passionate and enthusiastic Freelance Senior Designer & Art Editor with 16 years experience in the publishing industry. Since leaving my Designer position at Marie Claire UK, I have spent the last 10 years as a freelance designer. I have worked for a variety of well established and leading consumer and contract magazine titles covering Interiors, Food and Lifestyle as well as the Fashion, Beauty and Luxury sectors where my ultimate passion lies.

I love using typography and colour to design layouts and content creatively. The combination of an image and the right headline can be so powerful and I find this truly aspiring. I like to express my thoughts and ideas visually for each brand that I work on, whilst also ensuring to meet the brief and design within each brands guidelines and target audience for consistency.

I am diligent, have a positive attitude and an acute attention to detail. My innate ability to work with people of all levels and key stakeholders has enabled me to build and maintain great working relationships through my hard work, approachable personality and friendly nature.

I still strive to meet and continue to work with new and inspiring Designers, Art Directors and Creative teams to expand on my experience. My love and passion for design still remains as strong as it did, since I completed various design intern positions, including at British VOGUE and Saatchi & Saatchi London.

As a freelance designer, I have also designed various in-store magazines for retail brands including Harrods, Arcadia, Toni&Guy, Asda and OFFICE. Further to this, I have designed advertorial layouts for brands including Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Fred Perry, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boots and Clarins.
